As a Technical Account Manager (TAM), you will leverage your customer-facing expertise and technical knowledge to facilitate the successful adoption of Google Cloud products. This role is pivotal in driving customer success for our most critical clients, guiding them through the strategic and technical aspects of their cloud transformation journeys. You will oversee the effective delivery of Professional Services engagements, promoting the uptake of Google Cloud services such as Google Compute Engine, Google Cloud Machine Learning, Google Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Google Workspace, and Google Chrome. Regular interaction with executive stakeholders and cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams is expected, utilizing relationship management skills and technical credibility to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.

Accelerate customer adoption of Google Cloud by leading their implementation journey. Provide essential technical guidance, manage project timelines, track milestones, and guide migration goals and business transformation strategies.
Champion customer needs to dismantle adoption barriers and influence new feature development. Lead multiple workstreams and teams to maintain customer progress and momentum.
Cultivate strategic relationships with key stakeholders to deeply understand customer businesses and craft strategic roadmaps. Conduct quarterly business reviews and executive sessions to align with business and technical requirements.
Orchestrate customer events and launches, collaborating with Support, Engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to ensure customer success during critical periods. Work closely with customers and Support to guide and resolve issues and escalations efficiently.
Develop and document best practices derived from customer engagements, contributing to initiatives that scale through partners and expedite cloud adoption.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
Possess at least 8 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
Experience in migrating applications or workloads to public cloud providers is preferred.
Demonstrated experience collaborating with channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver impactful solutions.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across internal business units and with large enterprise organizations.
Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and management skills, with a proven track record of translating business requirements into technological solutions.
Understanding of one or more of the following domains: IT operations, database systems, networking, IT security, application development, service architecture, cloud-native application development, hosted services, storage systems, or content delivery networks.
