Own the backend platform engineering strategy, aligning it with business objectives and client outcomes. Lead technical governance, architecture reviews, and risk management processes. Partner with senior stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into executable engineering roadmaps.

Build and scale high-performing engineering teams, focusing on role clarity, capability development, and quality standards. Drive consistent engineering practices across secure coding, automated testing, CI/CD, and operational resilience. Identify opportunities for platform investments and automation to enhance delivery velocity and reduce risk. Guide technical teams through design trade-offs and ensure complex delivery issues are resolved effectively. Promote AI-assisted engineering and agent-led delivery practices to boost productivity and enterprise automation.

We are seeking a Senior Manager with a strong background in backend engineering leadership, including expertise in Python and microservices. You should possess a proven ability to lead architecture strategy for secure, scalable, and cloud-ready enterprise platforms. Experience managing multiple engineering workstreams and senior technical talent within complex programs is essential.

Demonstrate deep understanding of API design, microservices, database integration, DevOps, CI/CD, and automated quality gates. Possess strong delivery governance capabilities, including risk management and stakeholder reporting. A commercial mindset, connecting engineering decisions to client value, is crucial. Exceptional people leadership skills and executive communication abilities are required to influence architecture and investment decisions. Hands-on understanding of agentic application architecture, including multi-agent orchestration and safety guardrails, is a must. Exposure to modern agent frameworks is highly desirable.
