As a Full Stack Engineering Manager, you will be accountable for the end-to-end technical delivery, stability, and evolution of the Drill & Blast System (DBS). This role combines hands-on architectural leadership with people management and delivery governance, ensuring DBS remains scalable, secure, and aligned with operational needs.

You will be a key technical decision-maker and escalation point, empowering Senior Consultants and Consultants to deliver impactful solutions across mining sites.

Architect and own the overall solution, covering frontend (React), backend APIs (Python), optimization engines, and Azure cloud infrastructure. Govern best practices for scalability, resilience, security, and performance, while leading modernization efforts. Oversee backend services, frontend development, and the technical direction of blast optimization engines. Ensure production readiness across Azure environments, manage CI/CD pipelines, and own delivery commitments. Lead root cause analysis for critical incidents and balance feature delivery with platform health.

This role requires strong technical expertise in Python (Flask, Django), PostgreSQL/PostGIS, and frontend technologies like React and TypeScript. Proficiency in Azure services, DevOps practices, and observability tools is essential. You should possess experience with optimization and analytical systems, including Python-based workflows and constraint-based calculations. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to reason about large-scale distributed systems, and experience in diagnosing cross-layer issues are critical. People leadership experience, stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to translate business needs into technical roadmaps are also key.
