As a Senior Enterprise Architect within Technology Strategy & Transformation at EY, you will define cutting-edge technology strategies and drive enterprise-wide modernization initiatives. This leadership role involves shaping future-state architectures for large and complex organizations, requiring a potent mix of deep enterprise architecture knowledge, strong technical credibility, a consulting approach, and exceptional stakeholder leadership.

Lead key enterprise architecture workstreams for critical transformation, modernization, and assessment projects. Design and oversee the development of sophisticated cloud and custom-built solutions, utilizing modern architectural patterns like microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.

Establish robust enterprise architecture standards, reference architectures, governance frameworks, and comprehensive modernization roadmaps, including strategic application portfolio rationalization. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, delivery teams, and executive governance forums to ensure seamless end-to-end solution delivery, informed architecture decisions, and the dissemination of thought leadership.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field is required, alongside 15+ years of IT experience, with a minimum of 6 years in Enterprise Architecture or a similar senior architecture leadership capacity.

Demonstrated experience in defining enterprise target-state architectures, transformation roadmaps, and robust architecture governance models is essential. Proven expertise in conducting enterprise assessments and application portfolio rationalization initiatives, coupled with a solid understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF, ArchiMate, or Zachman, is expected.

Possess a strong technical foundation, capable of architecting and guiding the delivery of large, complex enterprise systems. Expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, API-led integration, event-driven systems, and distributed architectures is crucial. Experience designing for scalability, resilience, security, high availability, and performance is a must. A strong grasp of relational and NoSQL databases, data platforms, containers, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, and observability is needed. Experience across AWS, Azure, GCP, or hybrid/multi-cloud environments is required.

Provide full-stack architecture leadership, encompassing front-end, back-end, integration, data, and cloud layers, including modern web technologies like React or Angular. Experience architecting AI-based solutions is highly valued, including an architecture-level understanding of AI/ML, Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG, vector databases, embeddings, LLM orchestration, prompt engineering, and model evaluation.

Ability to define high-level GenAI solution architectures for enterprise knowledge bases, document search, summarization, workflow automation, and conversational interfaces is important. Understanding of AI governance, responsible AI, model risk, data privacy, security guardrails, human oversight, and regulatory considerations is also key.

Influence senior stakeholders, lead architecture teams effectively, and steer complex transformation programs. Strong communication, consulting, and presentation skills, including a track record of delivering thought leadership, are vital. Architecture and cloud certifications such as AWS/Azure/GCP or similar are preferred.
