As a Backend Development Manager specializing in .NET and Azure, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of robust backend platforms. You'll be instrumental in shaping architecture decisions, mentoring engineering teams, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

Lead the architecture and design of scalable backend systems and microservices, establishing standards for API design, security, and performance. Oversee the development of RESTful APIs and backend services, ensuring high-quality code through rigorous standards and reviews. Drive cloud-native solutions on Azure, managing deployments and establishing observability standards. Foster a culture of continuous learning and ownership within your team of backend developers, while managing end-to-end delivery for multiple projects and governing data and integration strategies.

We seek a candidate with strong experience in C#, .NET Core, and Web API development, coupled with a deep understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. Expertise in API security (OAuth2, JWT) and significant experience with SQL Server/Azure SQL databases and Azure services (App Service, monitoring) are essential. Proven experience in managing engineering teams (5–15 members) and a history of strong technical decision-making and architecture governance are required. You should be adept at balancing hands-on development with leadership responsibilities and possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
