We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Fusion Project Financials Functional Manager with a minimum of 8 years of experience in project accounting and financial management.

This pivotal role requires a Chartered Accountant with extensive post-qualification experience. You will bring deep hands-on expertise in implementing and leading solutions across Project Foundation, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, and Project Control. Your responsibilities will span budgeting, forecasting, cost collection, burdening, capitalization, intercompany transactions, invoicing, revenue recognition, accounting, and period close procedures.

The successful candidate will lead functional delivery, architect robust solutions, facilitate finance stakeholder workshops, and guide project teams. You will remain actively engaged in configuration, testing, deployment, and critical post-go-live support, ensuring seamless project financial operations.

Lead comprehensive Oracle Fusion Project Financials implementations, rollouts, and upgrade projects, ensuring superior quality and timely completion. Provide expert functional leadership for Project Foundation, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, and Project Control modules. Analyze project accounting and financial management needs, aligning them with standard Oracle Fusion Cloud processes. Design key project elements including organizations, units, templates, classifications, expenditure types, transaction sources, burden schedules, rate schedules, budgets, forecasts, billing plans, revenue methods, and accounting options. Oversee solution design for cost collection, allocation, burdening, capitalization, project asset creation, intercompany and interproject billing, customer invoicing, revenue recognition, and project close. Conduct fit-to-standard workshops, gather requirements, design processes, and lead solution walkthroughs with finance stakeholders, securing necessary sign-offs. Develop and review functional design documents, configuration workbooks, process flows, test scripts, reconciliation templates, training materials, and operating procedures. Manage intricate integrations with core financial systems like General Ledger, Receivables, Payables, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Expenses, Time and Labor, HCM, EPM, and external applications. Drive critical activities such as CRP, SIT, UAT, data migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare, including detailed project cost, revenue, invoice, and accounting reconciliation, alongside defect resolution. Validate subledger accounting, accounting distributions, support period close activities, and ensure project-to-ledger reconciliation and robust project performance reporting. Proactively manage scope, estimates, plans, risks, issues, dependencies, quality, governance, and maintain clear communication with senior stakeholders.

A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Oracle Projects, Project Accounting, or Project Financial Management, with significant hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Project Financials. A mandatory qualification as a Chartered Accountant, supported by relevant post-qualification experience in project accounting, financial control, audit, revenue, costing, or management accounting. Proven success in leading full lifecycle Oracle Projects or Project Financials implementations, including at least two Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations. Demonstrated experience leading Project Financials workstreams, client workshops, solution design, testing phases, data migration, cutover planning, period close execution, reconciliation efforts, and post-go-live support. Comprehensive understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost collection, allocations, burdening, capitalization, project assets, invoicing, revenue recognition, accounting principles, period close procedures, and reconciliation techniques. Familiarity with integrations across General Ledger, Receivables, Payables, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Expenses, Time and Labor, HCM, and EPM modules. Strong capabilities in client-facing delivery, project planning, accurate effort estimation, effective team management, and clear communication with senior stakeholders. Experience in project-centric industries such as engineering and construction, professional services, energy, real estate, oil and gas, government, or power and utilities is highly advantageous. Possession of a valid passport for potential business travel to client sites is required. Willingness to adapt to MENA shift timings (Sunday to Thursday) is also necessary.
