Join NTT DATA as a Tech Consultant specializing in AWS S3 Migration. This role is integral to designing, building, and operating a secure, scalable platform for migrating object data from OBSv2 to AWS S3. You will focus on ensuring reliable execution, robust automation, effective governance, comprehensive monitoring, and strong production support for large-scale enterprise data initiatives. Lead the complete migration workflow from OBSv2 to AWS S3, encompassing build and operation of AWS-based orchestration services like Step Functions, Lambda, and Fargate. Support both manifest-based and dynamic migration strategies, including batching, sharding, and retry mechanisms. Implement crucial governance for bandwidth, queue management, prioritization, and job tracking. Develop comprehensive observability using CloudWatch, including dashboards, logs, metrics, and alerts. Ensure secure multi-account deployment and IAM controls for privacy and performance.

Key deliverables include a production-ready migration platform, hub-side governance for bandwidth and queue processing, a reusable rclone runtime, DynamoDB-backed state management, and thorough CloudWatch monitoring with operational documentation.

Mandatory technical skills include hands-on experience with AWS serverless services (Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, SNS), compute and containers (ECS Fargate, AWS Batch), and deep understanding of Amazon S3 and S3-compatible APIs. Proficiency in rclone for high-volume transfers and strong Python development skills are essential. Experience designing and operating DynamoDB tables for state management is required, along with knowledge of AWS networking (Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, VPCs) and IAM/Security principles. Familiarity with CloudWatch for observability and CI/CD practices with GitLab is also necessary.

Preferred experience includes Dell ECS or OBSv2 migration, delivering enterprise-scale migrations in regulated environments, and working with hub-and-spoke operating models. The ability to produce clear technical documentation and leadership reporting is highly valued. Understanding large-scale object storage migration patterns, balancing migration performance, and applying strong operational discipline are key know-how requirements.
