We are seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead a team of 20-25 annotation experts. The successful candidate will spearhead annotation efforts in India, collaborating closely with the Operations Manager. Becoming an expert in annotation processes, training, and supporting the team to maintain accuracy and throughput standards will be key.

Lead a team of 20-25 ML Data Associates, executing plans for multiple ML workflows within defined process areas.

Ensure ML data workflows meet quality compliance, analyze data, identify SIM issues and metrics, highlight trends and gaps, and provide status reports.

Manage escalations, identify risks, and ensure adherence to confidentiality and compliance requirements. Responsible for meeting SLAs and task completion targets.

Collaborate with internal and external teams to achieve business goals, using data to set operational goals and manage activities.

Present data in business meetings, design and implement process improvement projects, and participate in new workflow rollouts.

Coach direct reports on leadership principles, assign challenging work for development, and provide guidance on work prioritization, including ad hoc requests.

Devise and implement performance improvement plans, provide regular coaching and feedback on quality, performance, behavior, and career development. Conduct regular performance management based on metrics and make hiring/firing decisions, holding team members accountable.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE, B.Tech) or Science (BSC) or equivalent is required, with a preference for quantitative fields like science and engineering.

Possess 5 to 7 years of industry experience, including at least 1 to 2 years in a team lead or people management role.

Demonstrate good familiarity with the Windows desktop environment, including proficiency in Word, Excel, IE, and Firefox.

Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and organizational capabilities.

Strong judgment and instincts are essential, along with the ability to prioritize effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment. Proven people management skills and the ability to lead by example are crucial.
