Join our leading professional services team as a Workday Team Lead and drive impactful HR transformation. You will play a vital role in supporting the technical aspects of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system, ensuring optimal performance and providing advisory guidance to clients.
Deloitte's Workday team offers comprehensive services from initial planning and full system implementation to ongoing support and optimization. We go beyond system implementation to ensure clients maximize the benefits of their Workday solutions, offering expert advisory and enhancement recommendations.
Provide L2/L3 production support for Workday Core HCM, resolving incidents and service requests within SLAs. Troubleshoot issues related to worker and organizational data, and support various HR lifecycle events. Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions.
Configure and maintain key Workday HCM modules, including organizational structures, staffing models, and job profiles. Implement approved enhancements by configuring business processes, security policies, and notifications. Utilize EIB for mass data updates and organizational changes.
Validate worker data, organizational data, and configuration changes prior to production deployment. Support Workday bi-annual releases through impact analysis, testing, and validation. Assist with tenant migration activities and provide support for audit requests.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Payroll, Benefits, and Integrations, to resolve complex issues. Validate downstream integrations and coordinate with integration teams for interface validations. Maintain essential documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is required. We are seeking candidates with 2-5 years of experience in Workday Core HCM within an AMS/Operate environment.
Demonstrated hands-on experience with Workday configuration is essential, including Supervisory Organizations, Staffing Models, Job Profiles, Positions, Locations, Companies, Worker Lifecycle events, Business Process Framework (BPF), and security policies. Familiarity with Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday releases, tenant migration, and data validation is also expected.
Desired skills include a strong understanding of worker lifecycle events, organizational structures, and the Workday Security Framework. Experience with various HR modules, integration validation, and ITIL processes is advantageous. Excellent analytical, client-facing, documentation, and stakeholder management skills are crucial for success in this role.
