Your role will encompass reviewing and approving fee calculations, ensuring alignment with fund agreements, and acting as the primary escalation point for complex queries. You will oversee end-to-end fund accounting for real estate funds across various structures, including the finalization and timely delivery of NAV, CUV, and NUV.

Additional responsibilities include managing expense accruals, reconciliations, investor reports, and fund financial statements. You'll lead statutory and investor audits, coordinate with auditors, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. As a key engagement lead, you will manage client expectations, communicate timelines, and proactively address risks. You will also drive process improvements and utilize Yardi and Workiva for accounting and reporting.

Key duties also involve presenting fund performance to senior stakeholders, owning PMO responsibilities, and ensuring strict adherence to SLAs and KPIs. Monitoring workload and capacity planning, along with escalating risks, are crucial aspects of this role.

We are seeking candidates with 7-12+ years of relevant fund accounting experience, specifically with extensive exposure to real estate funds. A strong command of NAV, CUV, and NUV finalization, along with a deep understanding of management and performance fee structures, is essential.

Proven experience in investor reporting and fund financial statements is required. Hands-on working knowledge of Yardi and Workiva is mandatory. Demonstrated experience in client engagement, SLA governance, and team leadership is crucial for success.

Qualified candidates will possess a CA, CPA, ACCA, or MBA equivalent. Experience working with global clients and geographically distributed teams is advantageous. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, coupled with strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities, are expected.
