As a Specialist II, Technical Scrum Lead within Technology Consulting, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of technology at EY. Our Client Technology division drives growth by solving complex business challenges through robust platforms and powerful product engines, fostering innovation at scale. You'll collaborate with technologists and business experts, merging EY's industry insight with our technical prowess to integrate emerging technologies like AI and Data Analytics across our services.

As a Technical Scrum Lead, you will spearhead Agile adoption and efficient sprint execution within technology teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Your role involves facilitating key Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure team alignment and productivity.

Key responsibilities include leading cross-functional agile teams in iterative development, coaching teams on Agile best practices, and collaborating with product owners and stakeholders to align technology outcomes with business goals. You will proactively identify and remove impediments, manage stakeholder expectations through transparency, and assist teams in estimating deliverables and increasing velocity. Maintaining product and sprint backlogs, and applying Agile methodologies to integrate changing customer needs are also crucial. Furthermore, you will act as a mentor and agile champion, contributing to organizational agility through special projects.

To excel in this role, a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required, with at least 5 years specifically in Agile project management, Scrum Master roles, or technical leadership in software development. A Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is essential.

Proficiency in Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks, along with a deep understanding of Agile principles, is expected. Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOps is vital. You should possess strong technical skills, including coding expertise in Java, Angular, Node.js, and proficiency with POSTMAN, CUCUMBER, AWS, and SQL queries. Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools like GitHub, Bitbucket, and Bamboo, as well as TDD/BDD practices and monitoring tools like Splunk and Honeycomb, is also necessary. Experience in monitoring and refining dashboards and optimizing workflows for continuous process improvement in Agile environments is key. While not mandatory, an AWS Cloud Practitioner certification and Professional Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, SAFe) certification are highly preferred.
