EY is seeking a Senior Scrum Master & JIRA Expert to join our Transformation Design & Execution (TD&E) practice. In this role, you will help clients navigate complex business transformations by bridging strategy and execution. You will leverage your understanding of technology in large-scale transformations and your experience in designing and integrating business processes to deliver value-driven solutions.

This position is instrumental in developing integrated solutions that encompass demand intake, prioritization, portfolio planning, financial management, execution oversight, schedule management, risk and issue resolution, resource allocation, KPI definition, performance reporting, and data analytics through dashboards.

As a Scrum Master & JIRA Expert, you will guide and coach the Scrum Team on Agile practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services. You will focus on developing a high-performing team by identifying strengths and areas for improvement, utilizing effective coaching techniques. Ensuring Scrum principles and guidelines are understood and followed is a key aspect of this role.

You will coach the team in self-organization and cross-functional skill development. Resolving impediments collaboratively with other Scrum Masters to enhance Scrum's effectiveness across the organization is also crucial. Contributing to the advancement of Agile practices within EY and facilitating all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) are core duties. Additionally, you will act as a JIRA Administrator or Consultant, managing workflows, permissions, custom fields, and plugins, with experience in JIRA integrations and automation being highly desirable.

We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree and 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Agile delivery methodologies. Prior experience in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector, including knowledge of Cards, Payments, Commercial Banking, Core Banking, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Regulatory, and Wealth and Asset Management (WAM), is essential.

Demonstrated experience in Agile project delivery, including Scaled Agile frameworks, Portfolio, and Product management using Agile tools and methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe is required. Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello, or Smartsheet is expected. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong stakeholder management abilities, including presenting to executive sponsors, are necessary.

A solid understanding of the IT landscape within a bank or financial institution is beneficial. The ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly is a must. Industry certifications such as PMI-ACP, PSM, CSM, A-CSM, SAFe, or CSPO are highly regarded. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and MS Project is also expected.
