As a Scrum Master and JIRA Expert, you will guide and coach the Scrum Team in adopting Agile practices to deliver high-quality products. Your role involves fostering a high-performing team environment by identifying strengths and areas for development, employing effective coaching techniques, and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles.

You will facilitate self-organization, encourage cross-functional skill development, and promote effective communication within the team and with stakeholders. Resolving team impediments and collaborating with other Scrum Masters to enhance Scrum effectiveness across the organization are also key aspects.

Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of Agile practices within EY and facilitate all Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. Expertise in JIRA administration, including in-depth understanding of its architecture, configuration, customization, and troubleshooting, is essential.

We seek candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 5-8 years of experience in Agile delivery methodologies. Experience within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector, including knowledge of areas like Cards, Payments, and Capital Markets, is highly valued.

Demonstrated experience in Agile project delivery, including Scaled Agile frameworks, Portfolio, and Product Management using Agile tools and methodologies like Scrum and Kanban, is required. Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or Trello is beneficial.

Exceptional verbal and written communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills are necessary. A solid understanding of a financial institution's IT landscape and the ability to adapt to new technologies are also important. Industry certifications such as PMI-ACP, PSM, CSM, SAFe, or CSPO are advantageous.
