As a Scrum Master & JIRA Expert, your primary focus will be guiding and coaching the Scrum Team in Agile practices to deliver high-quality products. You will foster a high-performing team by identifying strengths and areas for development, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles, and promoting self-organization and effective communication. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to drive decision-making and resolve team impediments. Contributing to the advancement of Agile practices within the organization and facilitating all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) are key aspects of this role.

Additionally, you will leverage your expertise as a JIRA Administrator or Consultant, demonstrating a deep understanding of JIRA's architecture, including workflows, permissions, and plugins. Your hands-on experience with JIRA configuration, customization, and troubleshooting complex issues will be crucial. Experience with JIRA integrations and automation tools is highly desirable.

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree and 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Agile delivery methodologies. Experience within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector, including specific knowledge of Cards, Payments, Commercial Banking, Core Banking, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Regulatory affairs, and Wealth and Asset Management (WAM), is essential. Demonstrated Agile project delivery experience, including work with Scaled Agile frameworks and portfolio/product management using Agile tools and methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, is required.

Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello, or Smartsheet is expected, with Power BI being an added advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong stakeholder management abilities and experience presenting to executive sponsors and diverse staff levels, are vital. A good understanding of the IT landscape of a bank or financial institution is necessary. The ability to learn and apply new technologies is a must. Industry certifications such as PMI-ACP, PSM, CSM, A-CSM, SAFe, or CSPO are preferred, and a JIRA Administration certification is a plus. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and MS Server is also required.
