Configure and customize JIRA workflows, screens, fields, permissions, and notifications to align with project and team requirements. Develop custom JIRA dashboards and reports for clear visibility into project status, progress, and key metrics. Integrate JIRA with other essential tools like Confluence and Slack to streamline workflows and enhance collaboration. Implement automation rules and scripts, potentially using ScriptRunner, to automate repetitive tasks and boost efficiency.

Provide comprehensive user support and training on JIRA best practices and functionality. Conduct training sessions to onboard new users and elevate the skills of existing team members. Perform essential administration and maintenance, including user management, backups, and upgrades, ensuring JIRA instance stability and reliability. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any configuration or integration-related issues. Continuously improve processes by staying abreast of the latest JIRA features, plugins, and industry best practices. Act as a seasoned Scrum Master, guiding high-performing teams in Agile practices for consistent value delivery.

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (B.Tech, BE, BCA, MCA) and a minimum of 6 years of experience as a JIRA Administrator or JIRA Expert, including at least 2 years as an advanced JIRA user. A strong understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and practices is essential, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Demonstrated experience as a JIRA Administrator or Consultant in a fast-paced setting is required. You should possess a deep understanding of JIRA's architecture, including workflows, permissions, custom fields, and plugins, with hands-on experience in configuration, customization, and administration. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are crucial for troubleshooting complex issues. Experience with JIRA integrations (e.g., Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins) and automation tools like ScriptRunner is highly advantageous. Ideally, you will have 6-9 years of experience in Agile delivery methodologies. A JIRA Administration certification is a significant plus.
