Shape the future of digital products as a Product Owner at the Senior Consultant level with EY. This role is pivotal in translating complex business needs into clear, actionable product requirements, driving value realization through robust product management and agile delivery. You will champion user-centric design, effectively manage product backlogs, and foster strong collaboration across business, engineering, data, and design teams to deliver impactful digital solutions. Exposure to value management principles, including KPI definition and outcome tracking, is essential for success.

Own and meticulously manage the product backlog, ensuring all features and user stories are clearly defined, prioritized, and directly aligned with business value. Translate diverse business needs, user feedback, and domain-specific requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for delivery teams. Collaborate closely with product managers, stakeholders, and engineering, architecture, and UX teams to refine solution requirements and deliver high-quality product increments. Drive the execution of digital product initiatives by considering business value, user needs, and technical feasibility. Apply value management principles to inform prioritization, linking product components to expected business outcomes, user impact, and measurable value. Lead essential agile ceremonies like backlog refinement and sprint planning, ensuring delivery teams have clear priorities and are sprint-ready. Serve as the primary advocate for the customer and business, expertly balancing user needs, stakeholder expectations, dependencies, and delivery constraints. Partner with cross-functional teams to support MVP definition, release planning, testing, deployment, and successful adoption of digital products. Monitor product performance, adoption metrics, and delivery outcomes, facilitating continuous improvement through feedback loops and iterative development. Support value tracking by defining KPIs, testing benefits hypotheses, and utilizing product feedback and usage data to guide iterations and ensure value realization. Integrate considerations for usability, data quality, security, and compliance into product requirement discussions. Inform use cases, workflows, and prioritization decisions with your industry or domain experience, particularly valuable in life sciences or healthcare. Prepare and deliver product updates, demos, and working sessions for stakeholders, ensuring clear documentation and progress visibility to support decision-making. Contribute to the advancement of agile, product management, and value management best practices, reusable artifacts, and continuous improvement across engagements.
Demonstrate 4-8 years of relevant experience in product ownership, business analysis, product management, digital product delivery, or agile transformation. Possess working experience with product and delivery management tools such as Jira, Aha!, and Azure DevOps for roadmap planning, backlog management, sprint tracking, prioritization, and governance. Have prior experience working on digital products, platforms, or transformation initiatives within cross-functional delivery environments. Show a strong understanding of agile product delivery practices, including backlog management, user story creation, prioritization, sprint planning, acceptance criteria, and release support. Exhibit working knowledge of value management within a product context, encompassing value case support, benefits identification, KPI definition, outcome-based prioritization, and value realization tracking. Prove your ability to effectively collaborate with business stakeholders, engineers, architects, designers, and data teams in a cross-functional delivery setting. Possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of clarifying requirements, driving alignment, and supporting critical delivery decisions. Apply your experience in at least one sector or domain to inform product requirements and prioritization. Be familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies and have supported the delivery of complex initiatives with a focus on quality and governance discipline.
