You will be instrumental in resolving complex UC and VC incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing preventive actions. This involves administering key Cisco platforms like CUCM, Unity Connection, and CER for user configurations and dial plan management. Additionally, you'll manage SIP trunks and gateways, support Cisco Webex video endpoints, and monitor UC/VC systems for performance and capacity.

Further responsibilities include configuring and maintaining video conferencing systems, troubleshooting video quality, and managing scheduling integrations. You'll also handle change and release management for UC/VC updates, develop comprehensive documentation and SOPs, and collaborate with OEM vendors for issue resolution. The role also involves utilizing call accounting tools for reporting and analysis.

A strong foundation in Cisco UC platforms such as CUCM, Unity Connection, and Cisco Emergency Responder is essential. You should possess experience administering Cisco Webex devices and Control Hub, with knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms being a significant advantage. A solid understanding of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, H.323) and dial plan logic (E.164, NANP) is required.

Furthermore, working knowledge of voice gateways, CUBE, Session Border Controllers, and SRST configuration is necessary. Familiarity with ITIL incident and change management processes is also crucial. Experience with call accounting tools, legacy PBX systems, and basic automation skills using PowerShell or Python are considered valuable additions. An understanding of video interoperability in multi-platform environments is also beneficial.
