Join EY's Technology Consulting team as a Senior Consultant specializing in Email Security and Data Access Governance. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise data protection and compliance solutions.

Leverage your expertise in Microsoft Purview Data Security services, including secure email gateways, data access governance, and data leakage prevention. Key responsibilities include configuring and managing secure email gateways (Proofpoint, Microsoft) for anti-spam, anti-phishing, and malware protection, along with content filtering and encryption. You will also monitor email traffic, generate reports, and optimize policies.

Manage data access governance using Varonis for permissions mapping, activity monitoring, and access reviews to enforce least privilege. Additionally, design, implement, and optimize Microsoft Purview DLP policies across Microsoft 365 services and endpoints to prevent data exfiltration.

Engage in consulting activities such as conducting workshops, developing solution designs, supporting Proof of Concepts, and creating technical documentation. Stay current with the latest Microsoft Purview roadmap and data protection trends.

We are seeking candidates with strong hands-on experience in Proofpoint Email SEG, Microsoft Exchange Online Protection, and Varonis Data Access Governance. Expertise in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and the Microsoft 365 Compliance Center/Microsoft Purview Portal is essential.

A solid understanding of regulatory frameworks like GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and NIST, alongside knowledge of cloud security and Microsoft 365 architecture, is required. Professional attributes include strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience in data protection or information security. Relevant certifications are a plus.
