EY is seeking an Associate Director to lead its Cyber Architecture, OT & Engineering competency, focusing on Operational Technology (OT), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and Internet of Things (IoT) security. This role is pivotal in driving business growth, meeting operational targets, and fostering career development for professionals within this specialized domain.

The opportunity involves shaping and executing strategic plans to expand the OT/IoT/IIoT security business, ensuring high standards in service delivery and quality. As a competency leader, you will be instrumental in building robust delivery capabilities and managing key business metrics.

As a competency leader, your responsibilities will include developing and executing strategic go-to-market plans for OT/IoT/IIoT Security across global regions. You will also be tasked with creating and implementing initiatives to develop new security solutions in collaboration with global cybersecurity leaders and building delivery capabilities to support existing and future services.

Key duties involve managing operational metrics such as utilization and productivity, alongside people metrics like retention and diversity. You will lead sales opportunity qualification and pursuit, including RFP responses and proposal defenses, leveraging expertise in scoping, solutioning, and costing OT/IoT/IIoT security solutions. Additionally, you will support the overall growth strategy of the Cybersecurity practice, identify partnership and acquisition opportunities, and develop branding and marketing strategies. Inspiring and motivating teams to foster collaboration and participation is also a core part of this role.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess at least 17 years of overall professional experience. This includes a minimum of 15 years in the architecture, engineering, implementation, and operations of OT/IoT/IIoT systems, with at least 6 years dedicated to assessing, implementing, and operating security controls within these environments.

A Bachelor's or college degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, is required. While an MBA is considered a strong asset, it is not mandatory. Ideally, candidates will bring expertise in solution development for SCADA, ICS, and DCS systems, as well as product security for connected devices. Experience in OT/IT system integration and security architecture, coupled with deep sector expertise in industries such as Power & Utilities, Oil & Gas, Advanced Manufacturing, and Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare, is highly valued. Familiarity with regulations like NERC CIP, IEC 62443, and NIST 800-82, along with knowledge of IAM, SOC, and Pen Testing within OT contexts, is also essential. Implementation experience with identity, authorization, and entitlements on OT environments is a plus.
