EY is looking for a seasoned XDR Consultant/Engineer with extensive practical experience in XDR consulting, deployment, migration, and administration.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background with Microsoft Defender XDR suite (including Endpoint, O365, Identity, Cloud Apps, and Cloud) and CrowdStrike XDR. This role involves direct customer interaction, leading discussions, and architecting secure, scalable XDR solutions. Experience with additional XDR platforms or security tools beyond Microsoft and CrowdStrike is considered a valuable asset.

This position demands a combination of deep technical acumen, a consulting-oriented approach, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Engage with clients to understand their security needs, current infrastructure, and business objectives. Provide expert XDR consulting and advisory services, including recommendations on tool selection, architecture design, and best practices. Develop comprehensive XDR solutions tailored to client environments, security maturity, and operational requirements. Lead the deployment of XDR platforms, covering endpoint, identity, email, cloud workloads, and integrations. Configure XDR policies and controls to optimize security coverage and operational efficiency. Validate deployments through rigorous testing, pilot programs, and production transitions. Manage and execute migrations from legacy security tools or EDR solutions to XDR platforms. Perform migration tasks such as agent replacement, policy mapping, validation, and post-migration support. Facilitate parallel operations, validate service readiness, and ensure smooth transition to standard operations. Handle day-to-day administration of XDR platforms. Maintain stable, compliant, and audit-ready XDR environments. Serve as the primary technical liaison for clients. Lead technical discussions, workshops, and reviews with client stakeholders. Articulate technical concepts, risks, and recommendations effectively to diverse audiences. Create and present documentation, reports, and presentations for clients.

For the Senior XDR Consultant/Engineer role, a minimum of 3 to 8 years of relevant experience is expected.

Key responsibilities include engaging directly with customers to understand their security requirements and objectives, providing expert XDR consulting and advisory services, and designing end-to-end XDR solutions aligned with client environments.

The role also involves leading deployment and migration activities from legacy systems to XDR platforms, performing day-to-day administration, and acting as a primary technical point of contact for customers, leading technical discussions and communicating complex concepts to various stakeholders.
