This Senior Techno-Functional Expert role focuses on the Yardi platform, providing essential support for finance and accounting operations within a significant global real estate context. The position merges deep Yardi functional expertise with technical administration, configuration, reporting, integration, controls, and production support capabilities.

Collaborate closely with Finance Operations, Onshore teams, IT, Yardi consultants, and third-party application specialists. The goal is to ensure robust system stability, enhance process efficiency, maintain governance, drive automation, and foster continuous improvement across all Yardi-enabled finance processes.

Serve as the primary Yardi Subject Matter Expert for finance and accounting functions, encompassing Accounts Payable, Cash Operations, General Accounting, Fixed Assets, Loans, Tax, Treasury, and associated reporting.

Provide functional leadership for Yardi-driven process design, issue resolution, configuration updates, workflow enhancements, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Manage Yardi administration tasks, including user access governance, security role configuration, system settings, periodic reviews, and platform health assessments.

Analyze and resolve complex production issues, conduct thorough root cause analysis, coordinate with Yardi support and IT teams, and maintain comprehensive documentation of known issues and their resolutions.

Configure and provide support for critical Yardi modules like vendors, approval workflows, payment processes, accounting structures, property/entity setup, banking, tax, loans, and fixed assets.

Oversee and support the Yardi Debt module, managing loan setups, debt schedules, interest calculations, repayments, lender details, covenant tracking, amortization, reporting, and general ledger reconciliations.

Manage and support the Yardi Fixed Asset module, including asset capitalization, disposals, transfers, depreciation settings, useful life management, asset register accuracy, and fixed asset reconciliations.

Facilitate system integrations between Yardi and external platforms such as invoice processing tools, banking and treasury systems, tax software, fixed asset applications, data warehouses, and reporting solutions.

Champion automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual effort, strengthen internal controls, and boost process efficiency across diverse entities and jurisdictions.

Support financial controls, audit requirements, compliance reviews, data validation, reconciliation processes, and governance over Yardi transactions and system operations.

Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, KPIs, and analytical outputs to support management reporting, operational performance tracking, and informed leadership decision-making.

Lead or assist in ERP transformation projects, new module deployments, entity onboarding, business testing, change management, user training, SOP development, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or B.Tech is required.

A professional accounting qualification is preferred, such as Qualified or Semi-Qualified CA, ACCA, CMA, or an MBA in Finance.

Possess a minimum of 6–8 years of overall experience in Finance, Accounting Systems, ERP support, or business systems roles.

Minimum 5+ years of direct, hands-on experience with the Yardi platform, ideally including Yardi Voyager and its related finance/accounting modules.

Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale finance operations within shared services, global business services, real estate, property management, investment management, REITs, or real estate fund environments.

Exhibit a foundational understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, audit mandates, property accounting structures, and real estate finance operations.

Strong working knowledge of Yardi configuration, administration, security and access controls, workflows, reporting capabilities, integration management, testing procedures, release management, and data validation techniques.

Possess hands-on experience with Yardi Debt and Fixed Asset modules, covering configuration, transaction processing support, master data upkeep, reconciliations, reporting, and issue resolution.

Proficiency in Advanced Excel is essential. Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, other reporting tools, data mapping, APIs, and interface monitoring would be considered an advantage.

Certifications such as Yardi certification, ERP administration certification, project management certification, or data analytics certification are advantageous.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, analytical thinking, project management, change management, and cross-functional collaboration skills are crucial.
