This role focuses on being the primary subject matter expert for the Yardi platform, supporting finance and accounting operations within a large global real estate context. It blends strong Yardi functional expertise with technical administration, configuration, reporting, integration, controls, and production support capabilities.

The position involves collaboration with Finance Operations, Onshore teams, IT, Yardi consultants, and third-party application teams to ensure system stability, process efficiency, governance, automation, and continuous improvement across Yardi-enabled finance processes.

Serve as the lead Yardi Subject Matter Expert for finance and accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Cash Operations, General Accounting, Fixed Assets, Loans, Tax, Treasury, and reporting. Provide functional direction for Yardi-enabled process design, issue resolution, configuration adjustments, workflow enhancements, and translating business requirements. Manage Yardi administrative tasks such as user access governance, security roles, system settings, configurations, periodic reviews, and platform health checks. Analyze and resolve complex production issues, conduct root cause analysis, liaise with Yardi support/IT teams, and maintain documentation for known issues and solutions. Configure and support core Yardi areas like vendors, approval workflows, payment processes, accounting structures, property/entity setup, banking, tax, loans, and fixed assets.

Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or B.Tech. A professional accounting qualification such as Qualified or Semi-Qualified CA, ACCA, CMA, or an MBA in Finance is preferred. Minimum of 6–8 years of overall experience in Finance, Accounting Systems, ERP support, or business systems roles is required. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with the Yardi platform, ideally Yardi Voyager and its associated finance/accounting modules, is essential. Experience supporting extensive finance operations in shared services, global business services, real estate, property management, investment management, REITs, or real estate funds environments is beneficial. A foundational understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, audit requirements, property accounting structures, and real estate finance operations is necessary. Demonstrate strong working knowledge of Yardi configuration, administration, security/access controls, workflows, reporting, integrations, testing, release management, and data validation. Key requirement includes hands-on experience with Yardi Debt and Fixed Asset modules, covering configuration, transaction support, master data, reconciliations, reporting, and issue resolution. Proficiency in Advanced Excel is mandatory. Working knowledge of Power BI, SQL, reporting tools, data mapping, APIs, and interface monitoring would be an added advantage. Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, analytical, project management, change management, and cross-functional collaboration skills are expected.
