In this role, you will support EY's Tax GCR (Global Compliance and Reporting) subservice line, specifically the ACR (Assurance, Compliance, and Reporting) function. ACR focuses on providing compliance and accounting services, including statutory reporting and bookkeeping, to corporate clients. The SMO team is crucial for managing client engagements, ensuring tax quality, controlling user access, and tracking service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).

During the implementation phase, you will collaborate extensively with EY professionals and client teams to integrate the GCR business model across various countries. This includes managing knowledge transfer sessions to capture specific service scopes and assessing outcomes to develop delivery plans and engagement management tools. You will also identify scope changes, build fee schedules for negotiations, and issue subcontracts to local EY teams.

In the service delivery phase, you will oversee compliance across multiple countries and functions, preparing reports on status, issues, and risks. Your role involves coordinating with local EY teams for issue resolution and managing change requests. Additionally, you will maintain billing schedules, work with finance teams on invoicing, and address client queries related to invoicing and contracts.

We are seeking individuals with strong client relationship and account management skills within the Finance and Accounting sector. Experience in managing multi-country Finance and Accounting projects in a client-facing role is essential. A high-level understanding of multi-country Finance and Accounting rules and legislations is required.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in developing and leading cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams. A good grasp of technology enablers and supporting trends for innovative delivery solutions is beneficial. Exposure to global Finance and Accounting platforms like Power BI, SAP, and ServiceNow is desirable. Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills are a must. You should have a Graduate or Postgraduate degree with 5-10 years of overall experience, including at least 3-6 years in a client-serving role. While not mandatory, a Project Management certification (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2) is preferred. Experience with clients in the Finance, Payroll, or HR domains is advantageous.
