EY is seeking a skilled Senior professional to lead critical Record to Report (R2R) processes. This role involves overseeing financial reporting, managing a team, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. Key responsibilities include overseeing and performing R2R processes such as journal entries and reconciliations, validating junior team members' work, and resolving queries. You will monitor daily R2R operations, manage escalations, and implement corrective measures. Generating reports, updating dashboards, and ensuring compliance with reporting frameworks are essential. Conducting regular team meetings to provide solutions and foster collaboration, ensuring smooth month-end closures, and facilitating knowledge transfer are also integral parts of this role. Additionally, you will update process documentation, drive automation, support system changes through UAT, attend governance calls, and identify opportunities for process streamlining and efficiency improvements.

Candidates should possess a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) processes, including general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. Basic knowledge of R2R reporting processes, KPIs, and compliance is required, with familiarity in IFRS and US GAAP being a plus. Experience in process gap analysis, managing transitions, and overseeing delivery across regions like EMEIA, Americas, and APAC is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, along with strong expertise in ERP systems like Microsoft D365, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, is mandatory. Excellent organizational skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are expected. A B.Com/M.Com/ACCA/CA inter/MBA Finance with 5-9 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, particularly in R2R, and demonstrated ability to lead teams are required.
