This senior role focuses on the meticulous review of multi-country corporate or group accounting processes. Responsibilities include managing the General Ledger, Balance Sheet reconciliations, month-end procedures, and preparing Management Packs and Financial Statements in accordance with US GAAP.

The opportunity as a Senior involves reporting to a Manager and engaging in multi-country or group accounting processes, encompassing General Ledger, Balance Sheet reconciliation, and month-end closing.

Key duties include driving end-to-end accounting experience, particularly within Group Accounting and financial reporting, with a preference for the power/energy sector. Exposure to Healthcare, MedTech, or Pharma is also advantageous.

You will ensure seamless book closures, reconciliations, and reporting by adhering strictly to the client's compliance calendar. Gaining a deep understanding of client business processes is crucial for identifying needs and fulfilling them through regular updates and reports. You'll maintain progress dashboards for multi-country engagements and champion process improvements by offering lean ideas and fostering an environment of uncompromising controls and enhanced quality.

This role requires reviewing progress dashboards, participating in stakeholder review meetings, and cultivating strong working relationships within the team and across departments. You will also manage additional project-related tasks and ad hoc requests from internal stakeholders.

We are seeking individuals with strong work organization, initiative, and commitment. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is essential.

Candidates should be motivated, self-starters with excellent interpersonal skills. A qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, or CPA with 3 years of experience is required. Alternatively, a B.COM, M.COM, CA Inter, or MBA with a total of 5 years of experience will be considered.

Essential qualifications include 3 to 6 years of accounting experience and comprehensive knowledge of accounting processes and principles such as IFRS and US GAAP. Familiarity with ERP systems like Workday, SAP, or MS Business Central is also necessary.
