This role focuses on leading Record to Report (RTR) operations, demanding a strong domain expert with proven team management and leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will excel in leveraging RTR tools and technologies for process optimization, with exposure to various ERP systems being a significant advantage.

Take complete ownership of RTR service delivery, ensuring superior financial reporting and regulatory compliance. Lead the RTR team in managing the general ledger, month-end closing, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. Monitor service management metrics, using operational insights to enhance performance and customer satisfaction. Utilize advanced RTR tools like Blackline, SNOW, and RPA to streamline workflows and boost efficiency. Foster a positive team environment that promotes growth, collaboration, and high performance. Adhere strictly to US GAAP, IFRS, and other applicable accounting standards and internal policies. Collaborate effectively with internal and external auditors. Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives by adopting best practices and new technologies within the RTR function. Analyze financial data to inform strategic decisions and present key findings to senior management.

Possess 10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, or equivalent professional qualifications like CA, CPA, or ACCA with 7-10 years of experience. Demonstrate significant thought leadership and a strong track record in Record to Report operations delivery excellence. Working knowledge of the Workday system and prior implementation experience are highly desirable. Exhibit strong leadership skills, capable of inspiring, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team. Possess excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Apply strategic thinking focused on operational excellence and continuous process improvement. Demonstrate financial and business acumen, with proven experience in managing deliverables across geographies and adapting to rapidly changing expectations in a metrics-driven environment.

This position may require extended working hours during peak reporting periods and occasional travel. Flexibility to work shifts that overlap with Americas and Europe business hours may also be necessary for seamless interaction with EY and client stakeholders.
