EY seeks an experienced Manager to spearhead the establishment of a multi-country/group Accounts Payable process. This leadership role demands a proven ability to develop high-performing teams and ensure efficient, high-quality invoice processing and timely payments that comply with all statutory requirements. The position involves close collaboration with Global Process Leaders on reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, offering significant support for consulting engagements in compliance and reporting activities.

Key responsibilities include ensuring timely and quality processing of vendor invoices, payments, and queries. Meticulous adherence to client compliance calendars to minimize backlogs and accrual impacts is essential. You will provide exceptional client service by front-ending client interactions and ensuring all critical performance metrics are met. Identifying and implementing process efficiencies to meet industry benchmarks, reviewing activities across Centers of Excellence and EY local offices, and coordinating month-end processes are also core duties. Liaise with Client Global Process Owners on accounting processes and continuous improvement opportunities, developing and managing new client strategic processes, and owning internal/external reporting dashboards to showcase progress are critical. A proactive approach to challenging status quo processes, implementing improvements with lean ideas, and enforcing uncompromising controls and quality standards is expected. Ideal candidates will possess substantial experience in managing Accounts Payable operations, including team development and leadership. Proven ability to collaborate with leaders across geographies and manage deliverables in a dynamic, metrics-driven environment with high accuracy is required. An outlook focused on increasing productivity and resource utilization, coupled with the capability to effectively implement process changes with adequate support, is essential. Essential technical skills include hands-on experience with Workday and a strong understanding of IFRS or US-GAAP. Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, along with robust client and stakeholder management abilities, are crucial for success in this role. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce or Business Administration, with 10-12+ years of experience and at least 8+ years in domain expertise, is necessary. Alternatively, a Chartered Accountant (CA/ACCA), Cost Accountant (CWA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 5+ years of post-qualification experience in Accounts Payable will be considered. This position may necessitate extended working hours during peak reporting periods, occasional travel, and potential shift work to align with Americas and Europe business hours for stakeholder interaction.
