This Manager role in Fund Accounting (RtR) is pivotal for leading comprehensive fund accounting and financial reporting for Nordic/European real estate clients. You will navigate complex fund structures, ensure adherence to IFRS and local GAAP, and champion operational efficiency using platforms like Yardi. Acting as a key liaison, you'll connect onshore teams and clients.

Oversee end-to-end fund accounting, including general ledger management, NAV preparation, and financial statement creation (IFRS/local GAAP). Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities while reviewing trial balances and reconciliations.

Handle real estate-specific accounting for SPVs, holding companies, and funds, including property-level accounting and capital transactions like capital calls and distributions.

Drive accounting operations via Yardi ERP, focusing on data integrity, automation, and standardization. Support system enhancements for improved efficiency.

Serve as the primary contact for Nordic clients and onshore stakeholders, managing cross-geographical communication and providing insights on fund performance.

Ensure compliance with IFRS, local Nordic regulations, internal controls, and audit standards. Liaise with auditors and maintain process documentation.

Lead and mentor a team, fostering performance management and capability development. Drive adherence to SLAs and KPIs, identifying automation opportunities.

Utilize advanced MS Excel for data analysis and Power BI for dashboard creation and performance tracking.

Candidates must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Possess 15+ years of fund accounting experience, with significant exposure to real estate funds. Direct experience with the Yardi ERP platform is mandatory.

A strong grasp of fund structures (PE/Real Estate), NAV calculations, financial reporting, and IFRS/European regulatory frameworks is essential.

Key functional skills include fund accounting expertise, real estate accounting, and financial statement preparation. Technical proficiency in Yardi ERP, advanced MS Excel, and Power BI is required.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical skills, attention to detail, and project delivery capabilities are vital for success in this role.
