As an escalation point for support activities, you will coordinate technical efforts to meet KPIs and deadlines. Your role includes designing and implementing complex VDI and App Delivery virtualization projects using various technologies. You will support intricate system configurations for Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft Hyper-V platforms, offering technical expertise to your team.

Develop repeatable standards and implementation processes to ensure quality and uniformity. Engage directly with clients, account managers, and peers to manage VDI/App Delivery environments. Apply best practices and methodologies to large-scale projects, and maintain comprehensive support documentation and knowledge base articles.

Facilitate team collaboration, share best practices, and foster an innovation mindset. Focus on automating and optimizing resources for improved efficiency. Be prepared to drive high-severity incidents and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation. Adherence to Change Management and ITIL processes, along with accurate ticket documentation, is crucial.

A minimum of 7 years of IT infrastructure technical implementation experience is required, alongside 7+ years in engineering or support for x86 offerings like VMware, Microsoft, and Citrix. Proven expertise in engineering and supporting highly available Citrix environments, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops or Citrix DaaS, is essential.

Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop for over 5 years is necessary. You should possess technical knowledge of storage subsystems and fundamental server hardware. In-depth knowledge of on-premise hypervisors (vSphere, XenServer, Microsoft Hyper-V) and SQL is expected. A thorough understanding of enterprise datacenter technologies, including Networking, Security, TCP/IP, SAN, NAS, and physical datacenter practices, is vital.

Extensive skills in Windows Networking, Active Directory, and profile management are required. Demonstrated ability to assess, implement, and troubleshoot IT Infrastructure systems and configurations using procedures, scripts, and templates is key. You must exhibit engineering expertise in requirements gathering, problem-solving, and recommendations for large, complex customer environments, achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.

Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) are necessary. Cloud solutions or certifications in Azure/AWS are considered an advantage. Experience with Windows 365, AWS Workspaces, Nerdio, or iGEL is a plus.
