Design, implement, and manage robust network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs. Monitor network traffic and security alerts proactively using SIEM tools to detect and respond to threats. Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts to strengthen our defenses. Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring compliance across environments. Investigate and resolve security incidents, minimizing impact and ensuring swift recovery. Configure and maintain secure network architectures for both on-premises and cloud infrastructures. Perform regular firewall rule reviews, network segmentation, and access control management. Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to integrate security best practices into all aspects of infrastructure and application development. Support adherence to critical compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, SOX, and GDPR. Participate in essential disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and security audits. Evaluate and recommend emerging security technologies to continuously enhance our security posture.

Possess a strong foundation in networking protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs, with expertise in routing and switching technologies. Demonstrate hands-on experience with leading firewall solutions (Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Fortinet, Juniper) and IDS/IPS. Proficiency in SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, or ArcSight is essential. Familiarity with cloud security principles across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud is required. Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture and SASE frameworks is beneficial. Experience with vulnerability management tools like Tenable, Qualys, or Rapid7 is expected. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is necessary. We seek candidates with 3 to 8 years of dedicated experience in network security, cybersecurity, or network engineering. Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash are highly preferred.
