This role is crucial for supporting and maintaining critical automotive production applications. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of systems and providing essential technical support.

Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for automotive production applications, maintaining control and support of applications on production lines. Engage in technical support and maintenance activities.

Key duties include managing incidents, problems, and changes, communicating effectively with clients and users, conducting daily team meetings, performing thorough problem analysis and root cause analysis, and analyzing source code. You will also create bug fixes, releases, and upgrades, occasionally configuring and optimizing applications and infrastructure.

A minimum of hands-on experience in application production support or development is required, along with a deep understanding of multiple systems and their functionalities for effective troubleshooting.

Responsibilities extend to monitoring and responding to incident tickets, escalating unresolved alerts, prioritizing service requests, and driving issue resolution. Process improvement, documentation of technical processes using Confluence, and collaboration with account managers on change requests are also vital. Be prepared for late-night, weekend, and on-call support duties. Experience with COBOL/JCL and IBM WebSphere MQ is essential, with DB2 being a plus. The ability to lead a team and clarify technical queries on Mainframe technologies is expected. Proficiency in German is optional but beneficial.
