This role involves applying advanced principles and concepts in your professional field, utilizing strong analytical skills for diverse problem-solving. You will be responsible for creating formal documentation, including reports, slide decks, and architecture diagrams. Leading and assisting in incident response efforts is a key part of this position.

Key duties include developing queries, dashboards, and reports in industry-leading SIEM tools like Splunk, and supporting SOC engineering initiatives such as tool integration and automation. You will also evaluate and deconstruct malware, resolve client issues, and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) through effective ticketing system usage.

Additionally, you will assess the type and severity of security events using packet analysis and in-depth knowledge of exploits and vulnerabilities. Communicating technical information confidently to clients and internal teams, participating in knowledge sharing, and maintaining awareness of security policies are essential functions of this role.

A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required. We are looking for candidates with 2-4 years of experience specifically in SIEM or Splunk Enterprise Security.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, alongside proven experience in creating formal documentation like reports, slide decks, and architecture diagrams. Candidates must possess robust root cause analysis, problem-solving, and investigative analytical skills. Prior customer service or support experience is also a valuable asset for this position.
