Join NTT DATA as a Systems Integration Senior Specialist and drive the evolution of our next-generation hybrid cloud and Kubernetes platforms. This role is perfect for an engineer passionate about solving infrastructure challenges through automation and building self-service capabilities that enhance platform reliability and developer experience. You'll be instrumental in developing scalable infrastructure patterns, modernizing compute from VMs to containers, and implementing GitOps-driven delivery across diverse environments.

This is a key technical leadership position focused on engineering excellence, reusable patterns, and advancing our Kubernetes-centric platform ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with platform, security, and application engineering teams to create solutions that are secure, consistent, and easily consumable by developers.

Key responsibilities include building and maintaining Kubernetes platforms, developing reusable infrastructure modules with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible), and supporting hybrid cloud infrastructure (Azure, GCP). You will contribute to workload migration to containerized environments and implement declarative, API-driven patterns aligned with GitOps workflows. Operational excellence involves automating provisioning and lifecycle tasks, leveraging observability tooling, and participating in on-call rotations and incident response.

Further responsibilities encompass designing and implementing GitOps workflows, building self-service platform capabilities, and integrating infrastructure automation with CI/CD systems. You will also provide guidance and onboarding support to teams adopting Kubernetes, fostering knowledge sharing and mentoring junior engineers through code reviews and architecture discussions.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps roles is required, alongside at least 2 years of hands-on Kubernetes experience. You should possess 3+ years of experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible, and a similar tenure working with GitOps principles and tools (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions). Essential skills include experience with container orchestration, hybrid cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), Linux systems, and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Furthermore, experience designing or consuming RESTful APIs and integrating automation into platform workflows is expected. A solid understanding of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and compliance considerations is crucial for success in this role. Familiarity with service mesh technologies, image management, and observability stacks are considered advantageous.
