Lead the engineering and delivery of robust firewall and network security capabilities for public cloud platforms, collaborating closely with cloud engineering, cybersecurity, and application teams. You will design and implement secure, scalable solutions to facilitate application onboarding and cloud adoption. Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing cloud security posture, automating firewall policy management, and improving overall system resilience. This position demands a blend of hands-on engineering, architectural insight, and operational risk management within a regulated banking setting.

Key duties include: - Spearheading complex initiatives for cloud network security infrastructure across GCP, Azure, and AWS. - Participating in programs to enhance cloud security platforms, including policy automation and secure application onboarding. - Evaluating security solutions against target-state architecture and regulatory requirements. - Analyzing incidents and outages to drive root cause analysis and implement preventative measures. - Designing, deploying, and maintaining Palo Alto VM-Series firewall solutions across multi-cloud environments. - Developing infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for firewall policy management. - Contributing to Agile development, including testing, debugging, and documenting solutions.

We are looking for a Systems Integration Senior Specialist with at least 5 years of experience in network security engineering, specifically with Palo Alto Networks firewalls (VM-Series, Panorama, policy management). A strong understanding of cloud networking concepts (VPC/VNet, routing, NAT, load balancing, segmentation) is essential, along with hands-on experience designing and supporting firewall solutions in at least one major public cloud environment (GCP, Azure, or AWS). Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code and automation tools like Terraform and CI/CD pipelines is required. The ideal candidate will possess a proven ability to troubleshoot complex network and security issues in distributed environments and experience working within regulated industries with stringent risk and compliance requirements. Strong knowledge of network security principles, including zero trust and segmentation, is also a must.

Desired qualifications include experience with multi-cloud environments at scale, firewall policy automation, cloud-native security services, and integrating firewalls with identity systems. Familiarity with financial services regulatory frameworks (FFIEC, SOX, PCI) and DevSecOps practices is a plus. Palo Alto certifications (PCNSA, PCNSE) and excellent communication skills for articulating technical concepts to senior stakeholders are highly valued.
