In this role, you will provide essential support for the Ansible platform's operations and automation solutions, addressing technical customer needs. You will focus on delivering robust, scalable, and maintainable infrastructure automation solutions that adhere to platform standards.

Translate complex platform requirements, operational needs, and customer feedback into practical engineering solutions. Collaborate with lead engineers to implement technical direction and continuously improve platform capabilities. Apply engineering best practices to enhance platform stability, automation quality, and overall operational efficiency.

Work collaboratively with engineering, product, vendor, and customer teams to resolve critical issues and actively support platform adoption. You will also independently troubleshoot automation and platform challenges, engage in incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and manage escalations in a 24x7 environment.

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering or infrastructure automation, or equivalent experience gained through work, training, military service, or education. A strong foundation in supporting production systems for high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance, with at least 1 year of dedicated experience, is essential.

Desired qualifications include hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform, including developing reusable playbooks, roles, and collections. Familiarity with OpenShift or Kubernetes is a plus. Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting using Shell, YAML, or Python is highly valued.

Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is beneficial. Knowledge of enterprise security, compliance, and vault tools like HashiCorp Vault or CyberArk, along with familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), would be advantageous. Previous experience working in Agile or fast-paced delivery environments, along with strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration, is expected.
