We are seeking a candidate with deep expertise in Palo Alto VM-Series firewalls, cloud networking, and automation. The ideal professional will excel in complex, highly controlled settings while driving modernization and operational excellence. This position requires a blend of hands-on engineering, architectural vision, and operational risk management within a regulated financial services context.

Lead the engineering and delivery of firewall and network security capabilities for public cloud platforms. Collaborate with cloud engineering, cybersecurity, and application teams to design and implement secure, scalable solutions for application onboarding and cloud adoption.

Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing cloud security posture, automating firewall policy management, and improving overall system resiliency. This includes evaluating security solutions and designing infrastructure-as-code for policy deployment. You will also analyze high-impact incidents and drive root cause analysis to boost resilience.

A minimum of 10 years of experience is required for this role, with at least 5 years focused on network security engineering and firewall technologies. Hands-on proficiency with Palo Alto Networks firewalls (VM-Series, Panorama) and experience supporting firewall solutions in at least one major public cloud (GCP, Azure, or AWS) are essential.

Strong knowledge of cloud networking concepts, infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform), and automation is necessary. The ability to troubleshoot complex network and security issues across distributed environments, coupled with experience in regulated environments requiring strong risk, compliance, and control measures, is also critical. Familiarity with network security principles like zero trust and segmentation is expected.
