Job description

NTT DATA is seeking a highly skilled Systems Integration Senior Specialist to join our dynamic team in Chennai. This role is crucial for managing and enhancing enterprise patch management and software deployment operations using SCCM/MECM and Microsoft Intune. As a senior technical expert, you will design, implement, and continuously improve these processes, ensuring client patch compliance and vulnerability remediation.

This position offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute significantly to client success. If you are passionate about innovation and eager to grow within a supportive and forward-thinking organization, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include designing and governing the complete software update management lifecycle within SCCM, from SUP synchronization to ADR execution and compliance reporting. You will architect and maintain WSUS topology, build and manage Automatic Deployment Rules (ADRs) for various patching scenarios, and define maintenance window frameworks. Additionally, you'll manage phased patch deployment pipelines, monitor patch compliance dashboards, and drive remediation for non-compliant devices.

For Microsoft Intune, responsibilities involve designing and managing Windows Update for Business (WUfB) policies, configuring Feature Update policies, and governing Intune update compliance reporting. You will also manage Expedite Update workflows and ensure alignment with SCCM co-management patch workload assignments. Software deployment responsibilities span both SCCM and Intune, covering application and Win32 app deployment design, phased deployment pipelines, and lifecycle management. You'll also be responsible for compliance reporting, vulnerability remediation integration, and developing automation scripts for SCCM and Intune operations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate possesses advanced-level expertise in SCCM Current Branch for Software Update Management, including SUP, WSUS, ADR, Maintenance Windows, and Phased Deployments. A strong understanding of application deployment methods (MSI/MSIX/EXE), detection rules, supersedence, and phased rollouts is essential. Experience with Distribution Point management, SCCM reporting (SSRS, WQL), and third-party patch integration is required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Intune is also critical, including WUfB, update rings, Feature Update policies, driver management, and Win32 app packaging/deployment. Experience with Intune compliance reporting and remediation scripts is necessary. The role demands advanced PowerShell scripting for automation and familiarity with the Microsoft Graph API for Intune operations. Integration of patch compliance with vulnerability management tools and proven experience in SLA-based patch compliance tracking are key requirements. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related engineering discipline is required, along with 9-12 years of progressive experience in enterprise endpoint management, including a minimum of 5 years focused on SCCM/MECM and 2 years on Microsoft Intune.
