NTT DATA is seeking an experienced Enterprise Messaging & Integration Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial for designing, implementing, administering, and supporting enterprise-level messaging, integration, and workload automation platforms. You will be instrumental in ensuring secure, high-performance communication between applications, leveraging technologies like IBM MQ, Kafka, and other open-source solutions. A key aspect of this position involves managing complex scheduling environments and driving advancements in automation, observability, and the continuous improvement of our critical integration systems.

Key responsibilities include comprehensive administration of messaging platforms such as IBM MQ, Kafka, ActiveMQ, and RabbitMQ, covering installation, configuration, security, and performance tuning. You will also be responsible for integration engineering using IBM IIB/ACE, designing and deploying message flows, and implementing robust security measures. This role extends to managing IoT and telemetry messaging via IBM MQXR/MQTT, administering workload automation with IBM TWS/IWS, and ensuring strong security, governance, and compliance across all platforms. Furthermore, you will drive automation and DevOps practices, integrate platforms into CI/CD pipelines, and maintain system health dashboards. Collaboration with various teams and participation in on-call rotations are also essential.

We require strong working knowledge across several key technologies, including IBM MQ (Distributed/Clustering/Security), IBM IIB/ACE development and administration, IBM TWS/IWS job scheduling, MQTT/MQXR messaging, Apache Kafka (brokers, topics, partitions, ACLs, Schema Registry), Apache ActiveMQ (Classic/Artemis), and RabbitMQ (AMQP, mirrored/quorum queues, federation/shovel). Essential skills also include strong Linux/Unix system administration, advanced debugging across messaging, network, and TLS layers, and a solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers, proxies). A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field is required. Relevant certifications are a plus.
