Configure and maintain MS SQL Server database servers and processes, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security through vigilant system health and performance monitoring.

Execute database performance tuning initiatives to optimize query execution and resource utilization.

Plan, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot high-availability database environments, utilizing technologies such as Always-On, Clustering, Mirroring, Replication, RAC, and Dataguard.

Independently analyze and resolve issues in real-time, providing end-to-end problem resolution.

Refine and automate routine processes, meticulously track issues, and document changes to enhance efficiency and optimize costs.

A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience managing MS SQL Server databases is required.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead team efforts, effectively multitasking and context-switching between diverse activities and teams.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities.

A solid foundation in ITIL best practices, with experience in Continual Service Improvement and Total Quality Management.

Direct engagement with end customers, business stakeholders, and technical resources is expected.
