Serve as the primary escalation point for all VDI support activities, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) and deadlines are met through effective coordination of technical tasks.

Design and implement sophisticated VDI and application delivery virtualization projects using a range of technologies, including deep support for Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft Hyper-V platforms. Develop and maintain repeatable standards and implementation processes to guarantee product uniformity and quality across complex system configurations.

Engage directly with clients, account managers, and peers to support intricate VDI/App Delivery environments, applying best practices and methodologies to large-scale projects. Create and maintain comprehensive support documentation, work instructions, and knowledge base articles.

Foster a collaborative team environment, motivating team members and encouraging the sharing of best practices and an innovation mindset. Focus on automation and resource optimization to enhance efficiency and drive high-severity incident resolution within your scope. Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and adhere strictly to Change Management and other ITIL processes, ensuring accurate ticket documentation of all support requests and troubleshooting steps.

A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure technical implementation and engineering/support related to x86 technologies such as VMware, Microsoft, and Citrix is required. Proven expertise in engineering and supporting highly available Citrix environments, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and/or Citrix DaaS, is essential, with CCA certification being highly preferred.

Possess at least 5 years of experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and demonstrate technical knowledge of storage subsystems and server hardware fundamentals. In-depth understanding of on-premise hypervisors like vSphere, XenServer, and Microsoft Hyper-V, along with SQL (VCP certification preferred), is crucial. A thorough grasp of enterprise datacenter technologies, including Networking, Security, TCP/IP, SAN, NAS, and physical datacenter practices, is mandatory.

Demonstrate extensive skills in Windows Networking, Active Directory, and profile management. Showcase your ability to assess, implement, and troubleshoot IT Infrastructure systems and configurations using procedures, scripts, and templates. Exhibit strong engineering expertise in requirements gathering, problem-solving, and providing recommendations within large, complex customer environments, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction on all engagements.

Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary. The ability to listen, learn, improve, and manage multiple projects simultaneously is expected. Cloud solutions or certifications in Azure/AWS (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-140, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate) are considered advantageous. Familiarity with Windows 365, AWS Workspaces, Nerdio, or iGEL is a plus.
