NTT DATA is seeking a skilled Systems Integration Advisor to join our team in Chennai, India. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in maintaining critical mainframe production support, contributing to our commitment to client success and positive societal impact through responsible innovation.

You will provide L2/L3 production support for Life Insurance mainframe applications, ensuring the seamless execution of daily batch cycles and online insurance processes. This includes performing abend analysis, resolving production issues, and coordinating end-to-end data flow. You will also lead incident triage, conduct in-depth analysis, and manage incidents using ServiceNow and Jira.

Your role will involve technical analysis of various mainframe technologies, acting as an Application SME, and collaborating with diverse teams including Application Build, Production Assurance, and business stakeholders. Documentation enhancement and identification of operational improvements are also key aspects of this position. You will participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to address critical production incidents and ensure rapid response and effective communication during business-critical outages.

This position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in L2/L3 mainframe production support within a 24x7, SLA-driven environment. You must possess strong hands-on experience with mainframe technologies such as z/VSE, z/OS, Assembler, Easytrieve, COBOL, CICS, JCL, and VSAM.

Proven expertise in batch operations support, including job monitoring, restarts, reruns, abend resolution, and data corrections is essential. Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow and Jira, along with a solid understanding of ITIL processes, is required. Life Insurance domain experience, particularly with Acquisition and Policy Administration systems, is highly preferred. You should demonstrate strong technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production recovery capabilities, with the ability to work effectively under pressure during P1/P2 incidents and meet strict SLA targets. Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills are crucial.
