Manage and optimize VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi and vCenter Server. Deploy, administer, and maintain virtual infrastructure components such as clusters, resource pools, HA, DRS, and vMotion. Handle VM lifecycle management, including provisioning, templates, and snapshots. Execute host upgrades, patching, and firmware updates to ensure system stability and security.

Configure and manage high availability and disaster recovery solutions like VMware HA, DRS, FT, and Site Recovery Manager. Collaborate with network and storage teams to optimize performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks. Implement VMware security best practices, manage role-based access control, and support audit and compliance requirements.

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in VMware administration is required. Proficiency in VMware vSphere (versions 6.x, 7.x, or 8.x), ESXi host management, vCenter Server, HA, DRS, and vMotion is essential.

Demonstrated experience with storage technologies such as SAN/NAS is necessary, with vSAN experience being a strong preference. A solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP and VLANs, is expected. Experience in patching, upgrades, lifecycle management, and strong troubleshooting and analytical skills are crucial. Familiarity with both Windows and Linux VM environments is also required.
