You will manage critical Tanium infrastructure, onboard new endpoints, administer various Tanium modules, and provide essential L2 support to ensure platform stability and operational efficiency across our managed devices. Key responsibilities include the end-to-end deployment and configuration of the Tanium platform, including servers, module servers, and clients across diverse operating systems. You will manage Tanium client deployments at scale, configure and administer essential modules like Patch, Deploy, and Comply, and ensure robust security through RBAC. Ongoing administration involves monitoring server health, managing client connectivity, and troubleshooting issues. You will also be responsible for operating Tanium modules for patch management, software distribution, and endpoint inventory, while facilitating endpoint onboarding and client management.

Further duties involve developing and maintaining automation scripts (PowerShell, Batch) for client deployment and health checks, creating custom sensors and packages, and potentially assisting with REST API integrations. Collaboration with infrastructure, security, and desktop teams is vital, as is participation in change management processes. You will contribute to knowledge sharing through documentation and support the mentoring of junior engineers. Experience with SCCM/Intune for co-managed environments is also a key aspect of this role.

We are looking for candidates with 6-9 years of experience in enterprise endpoint management, with a strong specialization in Tanium platform deployment and support. Proficiency in Tanium core components, modules (Patch, Deploy, Interact, Inventory, Comply, Connect), client deployment methods (GPO, SCCM, Intune, PowerShell), and Tanium Relevance Language is essential.

Strong skills in PowerShell and Batch scripting for automation, alongside experience with Tanium RBAC and ITSM tools like ServiceNow, are required. A solid understanding of Windows, Linux, and macOS endpoint management fundamentals is also necessary, along with working knowledge of SCCM/Microsoft Intune for hybrid environments. Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills are paramount, along with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks effectively.
