Job description

Join NTT DATA, a global leader in business and technology services, as a Systems Engineering Specialist focusing on Mobile Device Management (MDM). This senior advisory position is pivotal in defining, governing, and enhancing large-scale MDM and Endpoint Management services. You will leverage deep technical expertise and consulting skills to guide transitions and oversee operations for enterprise clients, ensuring robust and secure device management solutions.

This role offers an opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organization committed to innovation and client success. Become part of an inclusive and adaptable team that is shaping the future of digital infrastructure and AI services worldwide. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to accelerate client achievements and foster positive societal change through responsible technology adoption.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the end-to-end engineering and operations of MDM/UEM platforms, including design, implementation, and ongoing support for solutions like Microsoft Intune and VMware Workspace ONE. This involves managing extensive device fleets across iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS, while providing expert support for MEM, MAM, MCM, compliance policies, and conditional access.

Key duties include leading complex MDM migrations and post-migration stabilization efforts, acting as an L3/L4 escalation point for critical incidents, and performing in-depth root cause analysis. You will also define MDM architecture standards, security baselines, and governance models, ensuring 24/7 support for server uptime and handling incidents related to SCCM, Azure, co-management, and Autopilot.

Furthermore, you'll provide advanced support for Intune/SCCM infrastructure, including primary and secondary site servers, distribution points, co-management, and Cloud Management Gateway. This includes performing complex troubleshooting, mentoring team members, and resolving internal and customer technical issues. You will also manage configuration services for key accounts, focusing on inventory management, software distribution, and patch management.

This role requires strong knowledge of imaging engines and Windows 10 imaging technology, with the ability to develop custom deployment scripts using VBS, batch, and PowerShell. You will troubleshoot Windows server/client and networking issues, create custom scripts for inventory gathering, and ensure SCCM client health. Generating custom reports using SQL queries and handling high-severity incidents are also critical aspects of this position. You will also be tasked with upgrading SCCM infrastructure, configuring boundaries, and maintaining compliance rates for various management tasks.

Qualifications

This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Config Manager, Intune) and advanced knowledge of Intune/SCCM infrastructure, including primary/secondary site servers, distribution points, co-management, and Cloud Management Gateway. Proficiency in managing large-scale device estates across iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS is essential.

Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows server/client and networking issues are a must, alongside the ability to develop custom deployment scripts using VBS, batch, and PowerShell. Experience with imaging engines and Windows 10 imaging technology is also required.

You should be adept at generating custom reports using SQL queries and capable of handling Sev 1/2 scenarios as a single point of escalation for all technical issues. Experience with Inventory Management, Software Distribution, and Patch Management using Configuration Manager and Intune is crucial.

Familiarity with Infrastructure Management using SCCM and co-management, as well as knowledge of SCCM Client Management Suite at all levels, will be highly beneficial. The ability to monitor and maintain high compliance rates for software distribution, workstation patching, and SCCM client health is also expected.
