NTT DATA seeks an experienced Systems Engineering Advisor specializing in Mac environments to join our Noida team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing our enterprise Mac infrastructure, ensuring compliance, and supporting advanced engineering tasks.

Key responsibilities include ensuring Mac STIG compliance, managing scripts and application packages, and overseeing the patching process for the Mac environment. You will also be instrumental in managing enterprise Mac management systems like Jamf, Intune, and WS One, including server administration and upgrades.

Further duties involve leading MaaS delivery, creating and supporting Mac Thin Images, and managing distribution points. The role requires end-to-end project management for Mac environments, including documentation, delivery, and reporting. You will also develop custom Mac policies and troubleshoot incident management.

Additionally, this position involves designing and implementing enterprise solutions, recommending automation strategies, and enhancing endpoint management approaches. Proficiency in shell/bash scripting for payload customization and security hardening of Mac devices is essential. Experience with zero-touch deployment and pre-stage enrollment is also a significant part of this role.

We are looking for candidates with 10-12 years of total experience, including at least 7 years in a relevant systems engineering role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A strong understanding of current scripting technologies and the Mac environment is crucial.

Advanced knowledge of managing the Jamf suite of applications is required, with a preference for candidates familiar with managing Macs via Intune/WS One. In-depth knowledge of configuration management principles and best practices, including the ability to identify, define, manage, and control configurations, is essential.

Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to interface effectively with all management levels. You should possess advanced understanding of policy management and policy creation, and the capability to develop custom Mac policies based on client needs. Recommending driver management best practices and providing solutions for engineered solutions are also key expectations.
