This role is based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining patch schedules for diverse IT components, reviewing vendor advisories for patch implementation, and identifying system coverage gaps. You will coordinate readiness across multiple teams, install patches and updates using standard deployment methods, and execute changes across various environments, ensuring adherence to runbooks and segregation-of-duties. Post-deployment, you will perform technical validation, monitor platform health, and manage incidents. This role also involves raising and maintaining comprehensive change records and evidence for governance and audit purposes.

You will participate in planned evening or weekend change windows and contribute to the on-call rotation as needed. Engaging with business testers for functional confirmation and recording deployment outcomes are essential tasks. Maintaining patch evidence, version records, deployment logs, and exception records is crucial for supporting governance, control testing, and audit requests.

A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience is required, with a specialization in SRE, Patch Management, Production Support, ITIL, Cloud Technology, monitoring, and automation. Demonstrable experience in upgrading, installing, configuring, and supporting enterprise application stacks, including technologies like SRE, Production Specialist - Patching, SQL, ITIL/ITSM, Power Platform, PowerShell Scripting, GCP, GitHub, and Ansible, is essential. Experience in a leading role within global Level 3 SRE, Patch Management, Production Support, and Automation, operating within an ITIL framework, is highly valued.

Hands-on experience supporting and patching enterprise applications, tools, or infrastructure in a medium-to-large production environment is necessary. A strong working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux administration, software installation, service management, file systems, permissions, certificates, and basic network connectivity is expected. Understanding of application stacks, middleware, databases, agents, APIs, interfaces, and common dependencies is also required. Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python, alongside awareness of vulnerability management concepts, is beneficial. Knowledge of monitoring tools like ITRS Geneos or New Relic and MS SQL Administration is advantageous. A development background is a plus. SRE and ITIL certifications are preferred.
