The team works collaboratively to engineer, certify, and manage platform builds and capabilities, driving improvements in functionality and performance.

Key responsibilities include providing expertise in technology infrastructure concepts, supporting various platforms and sectors. You will be responsible for building, configuring, and tuning servers according to application requirements, and defining hardware needs.

The role involves coordinating with diverse teams to resolve issues and ensure timely project delivery. You will conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post-service restoration, design testing approaches, and assist in automating repetitive tasks.

Additional duties encompass ensuring regulatory compliance, being available for after-hours support, and conducting project-related research. This position requires diligent risk assessment in business decisions, upholding the firm's reputation and safeguarding assets.

Essential qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience, coupled with at least 6 years of professional experience. The role demands a strong understanding of RHEL, Windows, and Openshift environments, along with expertise in Active Directory, DNS, FTP, and data protection tools like Netbackup.

Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware and OpenShift is required, as well as familiarity with x86 server hardware from Dell, HP, and Lenovo. The ability to develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Bash is also critical.

Ideal candidates possess strong troubleshooting skills for network protocols and system-level issues using tools like Sysinternals. While not mandatory, familiarity with tools such as Ansible, Splunk, and SCCM is advantageous. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and independent work ethic are paramount.
