As a key member of a dynamic software development team, you will be involved in designing and developing frameworks for GPU workloads. Your contributions will be vital for the functional and performance verification of GPUs, ensuring NVIDIA continues to push the boundaries of what's possible. This position is critical to empowering GPU development and verification across various engineering disciplines.
Design and architect advanced features for compute and graphics stimulus development frameworks. Coordinate with GPU architects to implement infrastructure for functional and performance verification. Develop sophisticated GPU stimulus analysis tools, including debuggers and disassemblers. Empower GPU architects to optimize application performance and model future performance capabilities. Collaborate closely with hardware and software teams to streamline GPU software ecosystem development. Significantly enhance the daily workflows of top chip modelers and designers, contributing to the creation of next-generation GPUs.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience is required. Demonstrated expertise of 3+ years in C++ based projects is essential. Strong proficiency in C++ programming is a must, with experience in Boost or C++11/14 being advantageous. Solid understanding of object-oriented design patterns and system software principles. Familiarity with operating systems and the design/development of complex, massively parallel algorithms. Experience with chip or system simulation is highly desirable. Excellent scripting skills are beneficial. Knowledge of graphics or CUDA APIs like OpenGL, Vulkan, or Direct3D is a plus. Exceptional interpersonal skills are expected.
