Define, design, develop, and verify advanced security and platform features for next-generation RISC-V and other in-house controllers on NVIDIA GPUs. Collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and system software teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Conduct thorough security analysis and hardening of various firmware and middleware components, employing techniques like threat modeling, code reviews, static/dynamic analysis, fuzzing, and negative testing.
Utilize pre-silicon modeling, simulation, and emulation to validate system and security properties early in development, mitigating risks during bring-up and identifying defects proactively. Leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance development, review, and testing efficiency while adhering to NVIDIA's security and coding best practices.
Engage in effective collaboration and communication with distributed teams across various time zones, ensuring seamless project progress.
A B.Tech./B.E. degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required. We are looking for at least 3 years of relevant software development experience, particularly in embedded systems and/or kernel/driver stacks.
Possess a strong interest and demonstrated background in software and hardware security, with practical experience in building or maintaining security-related features. Excellent C programming skills are essential, alongside experience in low-level, resource-constrained, or real-time environments (bare-metal or RTOS) and device driver or BSP development.
A solid understanding of computer architecture and SoC fundamentals (caches, buses, MMUs, memory controllers, DMA, interrupt controllers, security islands, fuses) is crucial. Experience with complex system-level debugging involving firmware, drivers, and hardware is also necessary. Proficiency in using AI tools for development, code reviews, and testing in a secure and responsible manner is expected, coupled with strong communication and collaboration skills to drive designs and reviews across teams.
