Seeking a seasoned Delivery Lead to spearhead end-to-end delivery of Microsoft Fabric engagements on a fixed-price basis. This role demands exceptional leadership in managing delivery commitments, ensuring high quality, controlling commercials, and maintaining robust governance. The ideal candidate will also expertly coordinate service transitions, facilitating a seamless handover to operational or support teams, eliminating the need for a dedicated Transition Lead.

Key responsibilities include owning fixed-price delivery from inception to completion, encompassing meticulous planning, milestone management, resource optimization, budget oversight, and meeting all delivery targets. You will proactively manage RAID logs, address challenges, and escalate critical risks. Essential duties involve coordinating client dependencies, securing stakeholder decisions, managing access, and ensuring client commitments are met. Establishing comprehensive delivery governance, including regular status reporting, steering committee updates, and progress reviews, is crucial. The role also entails managing scope changes, refining delivery estimates, tracking effort, and handling commercial implications in line with contractual frameworks. Effective coordination across architecture, engineering, DevOps, analytics, and QA teams is expected. Furthermore, you will drive service transition coordination, ensuring operational readiness, effective knowledge transfer, documentation, support ownership, and smooth handover planning. Ultimately, the goal is to foster quality, uphold agreed standards, champion continuous improvement, and ensure high stakeholder satisfaction.

This position requires a minimum of 12 years of overall IT experience, with at least 8 years specifically in delivery management, project management, or technology program delivery. A proven track record managing fixed-price technology engagements and consistently meeting delivery commitments is essential. Strong foundational knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, data engineering, or cloud data platform delivery is mandatory. Prior experience in delivery governance, RAID management, dependency coordination, financial tracking, and client reporting is expected. The ability to effectively coordinate cross-functional, geographically distributed teams is a key requirement. A solid understanding of service transition processes, operational readiness, release governance, and production handover procedures is also necessary. Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are paramount for success in this role.
